Some journeys in life aren’t meant to be faced alone.
After losing my mother, I found myself in one of the hardest seasons of my life—grieving, searching for peace, and feeling deeply homesick. Even though I’ve lived in Charlotte for some time, I still found myself longing for the deep-rooted connections I had back home. The women from my hometown held me up in those dark moments—their love, their presence, their unwavering support reminded me of the power of true sisterhood.
Through that experience, I realized how important it is to have spaces where minority women can show up fully as themselves—where they’re seen, heard, supported, and most importantly, feel like they truly belong.
That realization sparked Her Tribe.
Her Tribe is more than a social club—it’s a calling. A movement created to hold space for women on their unique journeys. Our vision is to build something real and lasting while reshaping what community, connection, and empowerment look like for us.
Through thoughtfully curated events, intentional meetups, and genuine conversations, Her Tribe inspires women to come together in meaningful ways. From brunches and themed social gatherings to paint-and-sip nights and creative experiences, we create moments where women feel valued—no matter what chapter of life they’re in.
Here, we show up for one another in every season. We celebrate the small wins, the big milestones, and everything in between. Because we believe in the power of community—an inclusive, supportive space where real friendships are built, stories are shared, and women explore the beauty of this city, together.
This is Her Vision.
This is Her Tribe.
